A Power Wheelchair Soccer Team

Let’s Give Together! #GivingTuesday – Nov. 28th

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 28th is Giving Tuesday. Please, join us to transform more lives than ever before!

Our power wheelchair athletes work hard all year long with the dream of attending and winning their National Power Soccer Tournament in June. Please join me in supporting the San Jose Steamrollers for #GivingTuesday on November 28, 2017. By giving just $25, you can help make a wheelchair athlete’s dream come true. Without your support some of our athletes simply don’t have the money to pay for their travel expenses to represent their team.

Steamrollers Continue Winning Streak in May

The Steamrollers picked up 6 points from two wins against the Central Valley Ghostriderz in their matches played in Fresno on May 6th. On May 20th, the Steamrollers picked up two additional wins and another 6 points from matches against the BORP Crushers and the Central Valley Ghostriderz. Offense and Defense were both very strong for the Steamrollers last Saturday. The Steamrollers shut out the BORP Crushers in a 6-0 game. The final match of the day against the Central Valley Ghostriderz ended with a Steamrollers 5-1 victory.

Come cheer on the Steamrollers in their final home game against the Crushers on June 3rd at 11:15am being played in the Bascom Community Center gym. This will be the final regular season match for the Steamrollers as they tune up for their National Conference Cup Tournament being hosted in Indianapolis, Indiana June 16-18.

Steamrollers Improve to 18-0 with 2 Wins Today

The San Jose Steamrollers remain undefeated in the 2016-17 season with two more wins today on their home court against their Bay Area rivals, the BORP Crushers. Great team play by all contributed to the two wins. The first game finished with a 5-1 Steamrollers win after an early opening goal by the BORP Crushers. The second game was much tougher with a stronger defensive scheme demonstrated by the Crushers, but the Steamrollers still prevailed in a 2-1 victory.

The Steamrollers have one more away match in Fresno on May 6th, and their remaining games will be in their home gym at the Bascom Community Center. Come cheer on the Steamrollers at home on May 20th and June 3rd as they make their final preparations for their National Tournament being hosted in Indianapolis, IN on June 16-18.
