Steamrollers Finish the Regular Season with 18-3-2 Record

The Steamrollers finished their regular season last in early June with games in Berkeley against the Central Valley Ghostriderz, the Okanagan Thunderchairs, and their conference rivals the BORP Crushers. The weekend ended with two wins and one loss for the Steamrollers as they now turn their attention to the National Tournament to be held in Fort Wayne, Indiana on June 18, 19, and 20. Wish the Steamrollers well as they compete for the Champions Cup Trophy and catch the competition on the video broadcast to be streamed on LiveStream.

Steamrollers Roll to 15-2-2 Record With Three Wins

2016 Bash at the BeachThe Santa Barbara Rollin Rebels and the SoCal Vaqueros hosted the Bash at The Beach Power Soccer tournament just south of Santa Barbara in Carpenteria, CA on April 9th and 10th in which the Steamrollers came away with three wins and one loss. The Champions Cup conference rivals SoCal Vaqueros played tough against the Steamrollers, with the Steamrollers losing to the Vaqueros 2-1 on a last minute goal by the Vaqueros in the first game Saturday evening. The Steamrollers adjusted their style of play on Sunday and rolled to a 2-0 victory on Sunday. During the weekend the Steamrollers picked up two more victories over the Glendale Rough Riders and the BORP Shockers. With only two tournaments left in the regular season before the National Conference Cup Tournament in Fort Wayne, Indiana this June, the Steamrollers are looking good. Come check them out at their final home game of the season at the Bascom Community Center Gym, Sunday, April 24th with games at 11am and 12:30pm.

Steamrollers take 3rd Place at Champions Cup National Power Soccer Tournament

[slideshow_deploy id=’532′]The San Jose Steamrollers took 3rd place last week at the Champions Cup National Power Soccer Tournament in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Three of the six games in tournament play went into overtime, with the Steamrollers losing in the quarterfinal round in a sudden death overtime match to the Chicago Fire. Four teams from California competed in the event and the San Jose Steamrollers placed at the top of all the West Coast Teams. Congratulations Steamrollers!
