Steamrollers Finish 3rd in Champions Conference Cup Finals
For those supporters following the Steamrollers on Facebook, you already know that the Steamrollers finished 3rd in the Champions Cup National Tournament this past June in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Steamrollers played well against some tough competition, but our rivals from Southern California tied the semi-final match in the closing seconds and then went on to beat us by a goal in overtime. It was a tough loss for the team, but they bounced back to beat the Minnesota Northern Lights to take 3rd place in the late afternoon match.
The Steamrollers look forward to starting another exciting year of Power Soccer and have added another strong player to their roster with the off season transfer of Stanley Kuang from the BORP Crushers. Our first home games will be at the Bascom Community Center on October 22nd at the Bascom Community Center gym. Come check out the Steamrollers in action.
If you want to meet the Steamrollers and try your luck in a Power Soccer chair, come meet the team during our 2nd annual Fan Fest on October 8th from 1- 3pm at the Bascom Community Center gym.
