Steamrollers Roll to 15-2-2 Record With Three Wins
The Santa Barbara Rollin Rebels and the SoCal Vaqueros hosted the Bash at The Beach Power Soccer tournament just south of Santa Barbara in Carpenteria, CA on April 9th and 10th in which the Steamrollers came away with three wins and one loss. The Champions Cup conference rivals SoCal Vaqueros played tough against the Steamrollers, with the Steamrollers losing to the Vaqueros 2-1 on a last minute goal by the Vaqueros in the first game Saturday evening. The Steamrollers adjusted their style of play on Sunday and rolled to a 2-0 victory on Sunday. During the weekend the Steamrollers picked up two more victories over the Glendale Rough Riders and the BORP Shockers. With only two tournaments left in the regular season before the National Conference Cup Tournament in Fort Wayne, Indiana this June, the Steamrollers are looking good.
